Artists in Residence: Origen Festival

As Artists in Residence at SQUARE, the Origen Festival, under the direction of artistic director Giovanni Netzer, premiered The Artist's Way, a new dance production by British choreographer Robert Robinson. This debut, his first full-length work for Origen, which was performed at Riom Castle last summer, explores how his views on time and transience have influenced his artistic journey.

Origen and the University of St.Gallen have been working together regularly since 2016. An intensive block course takes place in Riom every year as part of the contextual studies program. At the end of April, the students on this year's course presented the results of their research at SQUARE. 

The three dance performances were accompanied and complemented by various events at SQUARE.
