St.Gallen Strategy Days 2025

22nd - 23rd of May, 2025

Europe in a Multipolar World – A Strategic Simulation on Crisis and Cooperation

The St. Gallen Strategy Days, hosted by SQUARE, is an interactive two-day simulation where students and young professionals dive into Europe’s evolving role in a shifting multipolar world.

This year, over 150 participants will come together in teams, representing governments, international organizations, and private sector entities, to address Europe’s strategic autonomy in the face of geopolitical challenges. The 2025 scenario focuses on pressing issues such as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, global trade shifts, and energy security, with particular attention to the complex dynamics involving Middle Eastern and regional powers.

Guided by experts, attendees will gain hands-on experience in strategy, leadership, and negotiation, developing practical skills to tackle high-stakes issues across political, economic, defense, and energy domains. This immersive simulation offers participants an invaluable opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and decision-making abilities while preparing for impactful roles in an interconnected global landscape.

Participant Reviews

“Its super nice to see how engaged everyone is and working together. At the same time, I realised how difficult it is to come to an agreement and that everyone also gets the same information.”
Nilani Sunthar, Student
“I gained a lot of insight into how diplomacy works, how the interactions between multinationals and governments work. It was also quite interesting to look into the perspective of companies, since the role of companies is usually underestimated.”
Boas Kaiser, Student
“Its quite fun, cause you can have a blank card, especially if you are like a business you can go into any direction. Its good value, the whole building is reserved, very well organised.”
Matthieu Dupraz, Student
