What does it take to lead responsibly in a business environment shaped by climate change, technological disruption, changing stakeholder expectations and increasingly complex societal challenges?
HSG Responsibility & Sustainability invites students, alumni, educators and business professionals to an evening exploring how sustainability leaders learn, adapt and drive change, and what this means for the future of business education.
The event marks the pre-launch of Navigating the Business of Sustainability: A Practitioner’s Guide, which brings together perspectives from Christian Leitz, Chief Sustainability Officer at UBS; Carrie Scott, Director of the Chief Social Impact Officers Council at The Conference Board; Márcia Balisciano, Chief Sustainability Officer at RELX; and other senior practitioners, academics and board members from around the world.
The book serves as a call to action, offering practical guidance on integrating sustainability into business strategy, governance, decision-making and stakeholder engagement. At the pre-launch, the discussion will use these perspectives as a starting point to engage a broader question: How can business education help develop leaders who are equipped not only to navigate change, but to contribute responsibly to business and society?
This question is at the heart of HSG’s ambition to develop engaged, entrepreneurial and responsible talents and to inspire leaders who take responsibility in business, society and science.
