In times of upheaval and change – and this is the time we are currently living in – people are particularly uncertain. They cling to what is familiar and are skeptical of everything that is new and unknown. It is all the more impressive when someone decides to take new paths, especially when it involves societal, voluntary engagement. This is what our Personality in Residence Wolfgang Schürer and our guest Alexander Barkawi, founder and director of the Council on Economic Policies (CEP), have done and continue to do.
But what has driven them to take this path? What motivates them to keep going despite setbacks? And what gives them hope in the face of challenging circumstances? Hear the answers to these and more questions at the afternoon talk at SQUARE.
