Prof. Yvonne Rogers is a pioneer in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, the Director of the Interaction Centre, and Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science at University College London. She is also recognized as one of the scientists who helped establish the field of Ubiquitous Computing. Rogers focuses on the development of interactive technologies that can simplify and potentially even improve life by enhancing and extending daily activities, learning, and work.
In 2023, the University of St.Gallen awarded her an Honorary Doctorate in Computer Science in recognition of her outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of Human-Computer Interaction.
