Business schools as agents of change: What does it take to foster responsibility in future managers and entrepreneurs?

6:15 to 8 pm, SQUARE Residency Grid

The students of the University of St.Gallen belong to the economic elite: they are among the leaders and entrepreneurs of the future. With great responsibility – for their companies and employees, for their own behavior, but also for society and the environment. What does it mean to take responsibility? And how can responsible thinking and action be taught?

Piet Baumgartner will discuss with Anne Köhler, Dr. Rachel Brooks and Prof. Chris Steyaert from the University of St.Gallen how business schools can prepare students for ethical, social, and ecological challenges. Together, we will examine the contributions the HSG is already making and the obstacles we still need to overcome.

The conversation will be held in English.
