Programme

The success story of Stöckli

Keynote by Marc Gläser
6:15 pm, SQUARE Atrium

HSG alumnus Marc Gläser is an expert in the international marketing of high-quality Swiss products. He has been at the helm of Switzerland's largest ski manufacturer, Stöckli, since 2014. As the first CEO not to belong to the Stöckli family, Gläser modernised the company and significantly expanded its domestic and international sales.

Ski racing plays an important role in the public perception of the Stöckli brand. Every victory achieved by athletes equipped by the company, including Marco Odermatt, is also a small victory for Stöckli and is celebrated at the ski manufacturer. The past season was also a successful one away from the ski slopes: Stöckli was able to announce a new record in ski production in a declining ski market and once again significantly increase sales.

Before joining Stöckli, Marc Gläser worked for twelve years for the Swiss watch manufacturer Maurice Lacroix, where he held various management positions before being promoted to CEO in 2012. It was up to Gläser and his team to reposition the brand, align management more closely with the market and customers, and increase profitability. Other career milestones include his own Swiss family business Wogg, Feldschlösschen and Unilever.
