Hartmut Rosa is one of the most important sociologists of our time. He says: «We lack a positive vision of the future». As a guest of the Swiss Institute for KMU and Entrepreneurship and SQUARE, he reflects on the crises of the present and discusses the consequences he sees for our personal and entrepreneurial actions.
Rosa is a professor of sociology in Jena and director of the Max Weber College in Erfurt. He is a recipient of the prestigious Leibniz Prize. His latest book Situation und Konstellation: Vom Verschwinden des Spielraums is being published soon.

What do Hartmut Rosa's analyses mean for younger generations, and how does he view entrepreneurship as an option? What are the consequences for universities, especially in light of recent digital developments? And what do we need for a successful life?
Hartmut Rosa is one of the most important sociologists of our time, a professor in Jena and director of the Max Weber College in Erfurt, and winner of the prestigious Leibniz Prize. As a guest of the Swiss Institute for SMEs and Entrepreneurship (KMU-HSG) and SQUARE, he reflects on our current situation and discusses his perspectives on our entrepreneurial and personal actions. Rosa will also be presenting his latest book, Situation and Constellation: On the Disappearance of Leeway.
The evening will be moderated by Simon Grand (professor at KMU-HSG). After a short lecture, we will engage in a high-calibre panel discussion with Hartmut Rosa.
