Workshop to the Play «Oleanna»

Abuse of Power at the University: How can we recognize and name it? What emotions are involved? And how can we best deal with it?

As part of the production of Oleanna, we will explore these questions—raised by the play itself—in an interactive workshop. We will begin by watching selected scenes and reflecting on the emotions they evoke, since negative feelings are often the first sign that something is wrong. We will then explore possible courses of action in dealing with abuse of power—both on an individual and institutional level. What can we learn from this for addressing the issue at the University of St.Gallen?
