For example, the UEFA Women’s EURO will be visiting us and will be there all day. You can have a chat, take photos, or explore the building together. There will also be guided tours led by experts, showing you the spaces that are equipped with flexible, interactive workstations to encourage creativity and teamwork. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy one of the best views of Lake Constance from here. This day is also about looking to the future. SQUARE is a place for learning and teaching where new ways of sharing knowledge are tested, and big ideas are turned into reality. It's a space where we can explore new directions together.
There’s something for everyone: from panels and workshops to lectures and artistic performances. You’ll have the chance to meet SQUALLY, the in-house robot specially programmed for SQUARE by students from the Computer Science department. Or, you can put on a VR headset and dive into an immersive world. Panel discussions will invite you to engage in conversations about topics in business and politics. Different perspectives will be presented—how can we think about the future together? How can we learn to best navigate this increasingly complex world. If you’re looking for a quiet moment, you’ll find it in the Tea Room. A Japanese tea ceremony, conducted by the young tea master Tomomi Sutter Kimura, takes place there at regular intervals. You can also visit the space dedicated to mental health and sports.
A visit is also worthwhile for families: children can treat their stuffed animals at the Teddy Bear Hospital or simply play.
The day ends with an exclusive preview of the musical "Einstein – A Matter of Time" by Frank Wildhorn and Gil Mehmert, which will premiere at the St.Gallen Concert and Theater on March 1. Selected songs will be performed at SQUARE.
