PMA Career Talks #1 – How to build an academic career? With Prof. Dr. Simon Schafheitle

You started your PhD and can imagine pursuing an academic career but you are not sure yet? Or you always knew that you wanted to become an academic but still have many questions that you would like to ask already during your PhD studies and ideally experienced academics? If so, our first PMA Career Talk is for you!

We invited Prof. Dr. Simon Schafheitle to talk about his journey in the PMA (Ph.D. Programme in Management) as a PhD student to securing a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente. How did Simon's academic career planning work? What were helpful tips? What were the biggest challenges and pitfalls? And how did the doctorate in the PMA prepare him for his assistant professorship? He will share his own experience in his keynote speech.
