Through the forest of thorns, a single path
The golden brass chain entitled "Through the forest of thorns, a single path" is the work of Geneva artist Mai-Thu Perret. The artwork, which was selected by the HSG Art Commission as part of a competition, consists of a total of 130 brass objects produced by the Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen. The design is based on a charm bracelet. The gold chain winds its way through each floor, symbolising with the individual elements (brain, eye, hand, etc.) the connection of different parts to create a successful whole. Each time you look at it, a new path is to be discovered, depending on where you start.
