Our Mission

Universities worldwide are confronted with societal challenges, volatility and uncertainty. They must constantly evolve themselves and their teaching and learning methods to prepare students as well as possible for the challenges of the future world of work. SQUARE at the University of St. Gallen supports this further development through innovation in teaching, cross-sector collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue. It is an experimental field for shaping the future of learning and teaching.

Partners & Supporters

SQUARE is a project of the HSG community. Thanks to the generosity of over 1100 supporters, the project for the future has become a reality. SQUARE is financed entirely by donations. In particular, we would like to thank the donors of the first hour, who have believed in the vision for learning and teaching of the future since the beginning, as well as the entire HSG community for their great contribution to the further development of the University of St.Gallen."

The HSG Foundation was able to receive around 65 million Swiss francs as part of the fundraising campaign for SQUARE. The largest project of this kind in the history of the HSG!
